Utah got most of their already really good defense back. Kyle Whittingham is a very underrated coach. And they beat the shite out of USC twice last year. Graham Mertz does not equal Caleb Williams.

Graham Mertz for Florida is a huge toss up and hasn’t been great. Maybe he turns the corner this year but a new system against a very good defense on the road…. I think the line for Utah should be -7, -7.5 without Rising. -4.5 seems like a great deal to me.

Oh and Utah doesn’t lose at home.

I was going to tell him that earlier but got busy. You can break that down into as many free bets as you want on Fanduel, as long as you use it up before it expires. I don’t understand why DK makes you place the whole thing at once. I would make bigger no sweat bets there if I could break the free bet down.

I listened to some of Joel Klatt's thing and, if I understood him correctly, he said the TCU/Colo line would be basically what it would have been last year and doesn't reflect any TCU deterioration or Colo improvement.
But that line would have been 30-35 in midseason last year. This is a serious change.
But TCU doesn't really push teams around. So it's possible that Colorado can pitch and catch it pretty well and hangs in.
