Was he a violent criminal or some small time dealer?

And for officers or citizens who take action? Micro criticize every action they took and throw them to the wolves and tear them apart.

Well he did wind up killing the guy...

I bet the family will sue for millions too since NYC doesn't require adults to wear a helmet while riding a scooter. And of course they'll win.

I didn't watch the video or click the link when I posted, but have since.

The video was feel sorry for the criminal propaganda. If he was a "good humble dude", he wouldn't be dead.

I'm not so sure, under progressive law, or lack thereof, the cop doesn't see jail time.

"why you gotta kill him, he didn't have anything on him"?

Because he was a drug dealer and they were arresting him and he was fleeing, that's why.

I'll say it once again, NYers love to tell everyone what a tough city they are when; in actuality, they are the biggest collection of pussies on the planet. Everyone knows this cop did nothing wrong. But, NYers will just step aside and sacrifice him to the woke mob and gutlessly keep voting for the very people turning their city into a shite hole.

Wall NYC off, Escape from New York style.

Pull policemen and firefighters out.

Leave the rest to govern themselves. But no one gets out. New Yorkers made this. Make them live with it.

Don't drive down a sidewalk, I guess?

If the guy wasn't being violent or endangering anyone, this was a stupid move by the cop. You can't kill a man just for fleeing.

BUT...

If it's true he was riding his scooter on the sidewalk endangering the lives of innocent people, which I'm sure some were children, the proper action would be to stop him however you can.

I'm sure the cop had zero intention of killing him, and just wanted to save lives. Innocent lives.
Do you get yourself dizzy when going around in these logic circles?

He used what was literally at hand to halt a fleeing subject who was endangering others by riding a vehicle on a sidewalk.
Either it was acceptable by a reasonable officer standard or it was not.
I say that it seems like a reasonable effort which had a sad result. Too bad.

But I avoid NYC like the plague.

Sadly, I figure that they will charge him for assault with a deadly cooler.

No mention of him driving a motorcycle down the sidewalk endangering pedestrians

Yeah I’m pretty much anti-high speed chase due to the numerous other lives that are out in danger, but stopping a guy who’s riding a motorcycle on the sidewalk is completely justifiable.

Dude had probably been arrested a shite load of times. I’m tired of career criminals running around. Every time one dies running away or resting arrest it makes me happy.

Small time dealers sell small pills with a small amount of fentanyl in them. The pills are made to look like other pills. Xanax, klonopin, addy’s, hyrdros. - they in turn kill people.

Can’t commit a felony and then comity another felony evading and not assume the risk that comes with those decisions.

Running from police automatically qualifies him to whatever consequences resulting from his running from police.
