No one ever claimed it was solely his. Not even Trump. He just believes in it more than a casual campaign slogan.

What he's saying is right. MAGA was a reaction to two parties purchased by corporate globalism. Trump was the opportunist smart enough to ride that train. But yeah, it wasn't his train.
