Who keeps telling Star Wars writers to put this stuff into their stories? It's garbage. Was then, and continues to be to this day.

I'll try spinning! That's a good trick!

Book of Boba Fett

And finally...

Ahsoka entering battle

Yeah, you've tried this deflection tactic once before, at least. Ignore the points being made, because you have no response, and then attempt a cringe 'own' which actually makes the point instead of debunks it.

But you do you.

Esquire - sorry, but your days of getting to enjoy the Galactic Starcruiser 'experience' are drawing nigh. Take comfort in the knowledge that the Ahsoka fight scene was inspired by this epic battle.

Get 'em Rey!!

Just watched it. Liked it and really liked the new villains. Don’t agree with the “stiff” old Jedi comment at all. He comes off as refined, old school, and measured… you know a real deal freaking Jedi knight. Yes he’s turned “bad” but there’s almost a grace and refinement in him that’s been missing from the other shows. Very Dooku like.

Like how the show didn’t make Sabine out to be some super star Force user either. The droid even ragged on her for it. But just like Rebels she’s got guts and is a scrapper.

I liked it. Solid start and good story build so far.

It’s also important to remember that the two main male characters from Rebels, which this show is building upon, are both gone.

I really enjoyed the first two episodes. These felt like our Rebels characters. Good story so far.

How do we feel about Sabine seemingly being force sensitive? I feel like that is something Kanaan would have picked up on in Rebels, but perhaps her connection was too weak then.

It was also interesting that Morgan Elsbeth is a Nightsister.

Yeah. I watched the OT recently with my kid and the individual battle scenes were awkward. It was nice tonight see Lothal in live action. I still don't see how Sabine could be Ashokas apprentice

I don't think she is. Just really smart as an engineer, artist and excellent Mandalorian warrior.

Did I miss something? I didnt see her doing anything with the force. She was sword fighting with Ezra’s old light saber…not force wielding?

She was referred to once as Ahsoka's former apprentice. That's pretty specific terminology I'm not sure would be used out of place.

Perhaps she isn’t, but her being Ashoka’s “apprentice” (she even referred to Ahsoka as her Master at one point) and them talking about becoming a Jedi seemed to indicate she was. Also, Huyang said something to Sabine about her force talents being less than any other apprentices he had seen, which I took to mean she had some force sensitivity.

That blonde Sith apprentice looks like she could be a 4th Olsen sister.

I love that someone said this because there was a moment in the second episode I told my wife the exact same thing lol

Anyone who is complaining is unpleasable. That was a fantastic start.

And has a clear agenda, considering someone said they saw both episodes a full day before they dropped.

Disney Star Wars is so over dramatized to the point that it's cringe. Every single light saber fight is just choreographed in a way to where every single movement is exaggerated. The blonde walking into the captains headquarters room for example with her lightsaber or the old guy going down the hall way that was a complete rip off of Vader's scene in Rogue One.

They can't even use the force without it being over the top. Oh you're in handcuffs? Wait a second while I make this over dramatic gesture to simply break them loose. Ahsoka spinning her lightsabers into the ground and spinning

This seems to be light years ahead of the other Disney+ SW series and I'm all in on the story, that stuff just bothers me.

Anakin literally used the force to cut fruit so Padme would frick him. And remember in the opening of Episode I when Qui Gonn and Obi Wan use the force to run really fast?

It's not Disney Star Wars, it's Star Wars post computer boom.

I liked the first 2 a lot actually. Curious to see where it goes, I’m guessing this overarching story line with Thrawn will explain how the First Order (empire anew) came to be.

I liked it a lot. I didn't watch Rebels, did watch Clone Wars. Seems very interesting.
