You have to figure that out with the survivors. I have no idea how, but I pray they can stay together and make it work somehow.

Had this been an option surely he would have done so. I can’t imagine what this man is going through right now. Knowing that I was involved with something like this it would prob send me to my grave.

Prayers for all involved.

I really don't know. Word is the father was a little ways behind them and arrived on scene right after it happened. Just knowing my two boys burned up in that truck, I don't know if I could make it to tomorrow.

Unconfirmed but I just heard the mother has died. Hope that's not true.

Not true at all. In fact, she left the burn unit in Jackson to go home to what is left of her family. Please continue to pray for them.

Doc is a first class human, from a first class family. He will need all the prayers he can get notwithstanding.... this is one of those stories that keeps you up at night. [Least it did to me last night]. Terrible / Tragic do not begin to describe what this family going through, physically and emotionally.

So you think Dr. James with the LSUAgCenter turned 70 years old and was driving grain rig yesterday?

For the truck driver. Not sure how to feel about that. Whether a mechanical failure or not he’s in fault. Brakes go out ? Crash the ditch not the car in front. Probably wasn’t paying attention.

Who owns all the big farms in Richland Parish / who was this driver working for?

How are the survivors, physically, Mr. Balls? I assume the surviving child is older since that child was in the front passenger seat according to the article.

No he was going to work in his vehicle. The way I heard the story it was wife’s suv -> grain truck -> husband’s vehicle.
