Their daily forecast actually says “near record high temperatures”.

Where does it end?

My Weather Channel app warns me 5 times a day that it's hot outside. Big thanks to those baws over there. I almost forgot one day but they hit me with a timely reminder.

I mean is it an “act” if it’s true?

ETA:Downvotes can’t handle the fact that it has been one of the hottest summers in SELA in the past 100 years.

It’s tied to how often the OT complains about Nola or BR

I'm not sure why that upsets some of you. I'm really curious.

maybe a silly question here, but what is the record high for your area? Is the forecast for today near that?

I haven't checked any data but it seems like the hottest summer I can recall especially considering damn near zero rain where I'm located.

weather underground used to be great. but the founders sold the firm to the weather channel. you know, the guys that send reporters in blue jackets out near a storm (not that near) and show pictures of water in the streets and about 50mph winds blowing in the trees; all while predicting mass destruction

Around here in Central Alabama, it's been a normal summer
Guess the Feds slipped us some climate change funds

Despite it being really hot I made a forecast recently that said "high temps will sit around average for this time of the year". I like to imaging some bleeding hearts seething over that. WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS IS AVERAGE

So, I guess you'd prefer if the forecast was, "go outside and see for yourself."
