Fish oil is fundamentally rancid and is the biggest meme supplement in America.
I’m sure you’re right. A lot of it also has mercury in it. Some brands remove it; most don’t. I use coconut oil in the kitchen whenever possible to help make ketones when I’m cutting carbs.

and ketone production keeps going until you flip it back to glucose
An additional 7 hours takes you into liver cleansing of senescent cellular processes and issues, and continued ketones and autophagy.
I try to do the 17 every day and when lifestyle agrees the 24 - and have considered 48-72 hours.
BTW, I can tell when I transition over to ketones. It feels great if you know what it is...

Absolutely. I’ve been on extended trips into ketosis. Like months and months. It’s tricky to know when it’s time to bail. I’ve also overdone it and gotten very weak. I currently try to do short cycles before I carb back up for exercise.

Are you sure it’s not magnesium oxide?
Where do you get the mag citrate pills?

Read through the whole thread and I think I only saw one person taking NAC. I’m considering taking it to stave off kidney disease, due to a family history of it plus not great eGFR score on last blood work.
Anyone have any info about NAC in particular or any other supps for kidneys?

Just to throw this out there had been using fish oil/krill oil, immunity supplement, grass fed beef liver pills, and multi vitamin for the last 2 years. I stopped in January just to see what would happen and I don't see any differences without them not yet at least almost 60 days into this. I'm not saying they don't work or matter because I think different people can benefit from different things more than others. I now am just using:
-7.5 grams of creatine hcl
-pre workout (for the caffeine) with added pink Himalayan salt
-3 whey isolate shakes a day (50g each)
-ZMA supplement before bed on empty stomach
and I feel the same as I did when using all the other stuff. What does this mean? Who knows?
creatine is the most researched supplement in the world. Caffeine is second. Whey protein/aminos are third. I'm going to stick to those for now.

I dont consider many supplements a must. Vit D might be the closest to this for most people.

My current regimen based on bloodwork and conversations with my doc.. Supplements are likely overkill but I'm feeling good so I'm going to continue..
