Minnesota at #5?
Yeah, this list is suspect. Minnesota is a frozen hellhole full of raging leftists.
Minnesota is tied with Colorado for my least favorite state. However, Colorado at least has an excuse for its problems (I.e. drugs and it’s proximity to California)
Minnesota has no excuse, but it is currently run by the most rabid group of leftists. They are about to ban all gas powered small equipment, for example.
Also, just look at how they handled the riots there.

LA is one of the most diverse states per capita in the country. To point out how poorly it ranked in factors such as education and crime, while not providing a measure with positive connotation to diverse demographics, is incredibly racist and ignorant.

These rankings are bought and paid for by political groups who need the low rankings to flavor their message.

Never understood the obsession with Idaho. 10-15 years ago it had a huge brain-drain problem with all of its college graduates leaving because job opportunities there were slim to nothing. Then all of a sudden in the last 2-3 years media articles started touting Idaho as this beautiful paradise to live and that more people should move there.
It has scenery which helps, but as far as job opportunities and healthcare it’s terrible.
