Single greatest busted play in LSU history. I heard that was the loudest game ever in Tiger Stadium. Were you there?

I wish I could’ve been at that game. I was living in Orlando at the time and we watched it on the tv in the break room at work.

I went nuts.

Flew to New Orleans for the championship later that year.

I was there, about 20 rows away, it was epic. From fully deflated after the screen pass TD to fully elated.

I was there on the 50 yard line 2 rows below Verne & Todd Blackledge that were on the call for CBS. When Skyler Green caught that pass that was loudest thing I have ever heard at Tiger Stadium or any sporting event in my life. It was incredible noise and adrenaline rush.
Cherished memory for sure.

I was there, SEZ, not sure the section then, 315/316? The play happened away from us.

Easily this is one of my fav moments ever. I say it a lot, but LSU up 10-3 and UGA scores on 93 yard screen pass to tie it 10-10. TV timeout and Tiger Stadium erupts with L-S-U chant. TV timeout ends and Devery has a great kickoff return. Then that!!

Also Corey Webster INT to seal it.

This play is referenced all the time, rightfully so, and yet is still somehow underrated. A lot changed that afternoon, and it was surreal in many ways to watch it happen.

Yes, I was there.

The Mauck fumble and Tyson Browning 93-yd TD with under 5 mins to play really sucked the wind out of the stadium.

Skyler Green is one of my all time favorite players. Not on anyone’s goat list but he was fun to watch. He was electric.

In the student section for that one. Green was running straight at me. I was about 5 rows up. It got crazy in there for sure.

That game I stood/sat in line at the student gate all freaking night starting at around 10 or 11 pm Friday night. There was a bunch of us. I remember some food joint bringing us a bunch of free food at some point. Maybe it was pizza I can’t remember. That was a LONG day

That was my 1st game at Tiger Stadium, in the west upper about 3 rows from the top before the renovation, it was steep. What an experience for my 1st game. Been to several since but none that I have been too has compared to that epic game.

I was there in north endzone. It was spectacular and electrifying.

As to wether it was the loudest moment or not i couldnt say. In my mind there is sort of a maximum tiger stadium sound that has been more or less “tied” several times.

Since the stadium has been expanded its loudest volume is louder than before.
