If it’s similar enough to the new GX and I can get an off-road version with the 3rd row I’ll be in.

Either way, the grand wagoner, suburban and escalade will be better
I know this is a Broyota forum, but I tend to agree. If I were in the market I would go with a Navigator, Escalade, or Yukon Denali. I just like domestic vehicles better. I understand the reliability is less than stellar next to Japanese made vehicles, but that's just my preference.

I will now duck.

It’s based on the new global Prado platform that new GX is on. They hit a home run with new GX, look forward to having new LC back in the States.

Sold my 1998 first year 100 series last year with 360k miles on it. Solid vehicle for 23 yrs, but I was ready to part with it.

Australia version

This is the best blend of old and new I’ve seen in the car market. Why can’t we get this one?

Don't like that it's a hybrid 4 cylinder and doesn't have 3rd option as of yet

Supposedly can tow 6000lbs but this doesn't seem like a LC to me, plus the classic reliability will be questioned at least for the first few years

This seems like a 4Runner clone with LC badge

Is it possible to get one of the non-US versions of the LC shipped in?

You know the Toyota Tundra is the most American made full size truck on the market don’t you?

Most American made truck of all sizes? Honda Ridgeline.

Yeah once it is 25 years old.

Sadly we will likely never see new 70 series or diesel engines here for sale in the US.

I've wondered this too....when down in Costa Rica, you see the diesel engine versions all over. I know you can ship your boat down to Costa Rica, but unsure of shipping back into the U.S.A.

They don't meet US diesel emission standards.

And it's not a big enough market for them to engineer all the required equipment. Same reason we lost to GOAT VW diesel Touareg.
