Good for him, but damn that seems dumb on Boston's part. Especially with Tatum due some money.

These players are robbing these owners….

For just a GOOD player. Wow.

The trade kicker is the funny part. Like $61 million a year isn’t enough already

In year 5 he's making over 69 million

That is incredibly dumb. When they inevitably try to move him nobody will take that trade

The curse of having a near great nba player is very, very real.

Caleb Martin has a 3 year $20 million contract and he owned Jaylen Brown in the Eastern Conference Finals.

That’s a worse contract than Bradley Beal, wow Worst in the league instantly. How is the second option the richest player in the NBA now? He still can’t go left. What a broken mess.

Tatum is the better trade asset. Boston is going to get a fricking haul for him.

The richest contract in NBA history was just given to a player who, in 7 NBA seasons, has made exactly 2 all star games, 1 all nba team, and isn’t even the best player on his team

this is a prime example of the NBA needing to go to a hard cap, with no max contracts.
In that scenario, he gets nowhere near this IMO.
