Boycotting of Bud Lt is great, cancelling people because they drink it or say it is stupid and exactly what people chastise the left for. Who gives a shite. It's a shitty beer which is why it has been so easy for people to boycott it. He's probably just playing the contrarian bc he hates when people rush headlong into these boycotts on both sides and it goes from political statement to fad. Generally speaking Barkley seems to think everyone on both sides with herd mentality is an idiot.

What I've seen and heard of Barkley's politics, he ain't woke. Like somebody else mentioned, I think he just makes up his own mind and goes with that.
I seem to recall that he was very anti-virtue signalling, and would call people out on that when they did something.
As for this, he probably a) got paid by Bud Light, and b) decided he's going to keep drinking Bud Light because he likes to. I don't mind him saying "rednecks", because from what I remember, he kinda identified as one. Grew up a big ol country boy.

Barkley is only good for 5-10 minutes of basketball talk. Outside of that, his opinion on anything else is trash.
