I’m impressed that he didn’t put himself on the list. Humility on display. Very easy to pull for him and a great example to others. He is winning in the game of life.

Any list without Pistol Pete is wrong. They have a college highlights out on the Web for Pete now. The video quality is poor but the things he is doing are true greatness.

Heck, I truly believe if Sue Gunter wouldn't have passed away Seimone and that crew would have definitely won 2 titles at the least.

Shaq and Crews should be on everyone’s list. The rest of the spots could be so many different athletes. Seimone, Ben McDonald, Walker, Cannon, Faulk, Casanova, Burrow, Tyrann, PP, Nola….the list is really never ending.

I love Chad Jones, but TM7 can be #5!

it's funny because to me TM7 is the best pure football player I've ever seen in an LSU uniform.

including Burrow.

I think you could maybe argue the ordering, maybe a few people he left off, but looks solid enough to me.

Hard to compare athletes from different sports and come up with a definitive list

He’s paying respect to the man that changed his life a mentored him in the NFL.

Rest of the list is solid.

Chad Jones won:
BCS National Title (2007)
CWS National Title (2009)
NFL Super Bowl Champion (XLVI)

Pistol
Shaq
Burrow
Crews

Top 4 don't seem that debatable. 5 is where it gets tricky.

Glenn Dorsey
Chad Jones
Patrick Peterson
Tyrann Mathieu
Billy Cannon
Bob Pettit
Jim Taylor
Tommy Casanova
Kevin Faulk
Seimone Augustus
Mondo Duplantis
Todd Walker

Could make a case for all of these. I'll go with Glenn Dorsey.

Chris Jackson?

Or does his anthem BS exclude him from consideration?

We need a top ten and Tryann would be on that list

Also different eras, like Bob Pettit and our other stars of lore.

Hard to compare different eras, but Cannon was the definition of an athlete. He set state records in the 100 and in the shotput in track before getting to LSU. Besides returning kickoffs and punts, being the RB, a defensive back and the main punter, in the Sugar Bowl against Clemson, he also threw the only TD of the game and kicked the extra point as well
He was definitely athletically versatile.
