Grimace is a psychopathic murderer, who has sworn to exact revenge on anyone who drinks the grimace shake. The Grimace Skake is said to have the milk extracted from Grimace himself.
This violation has caused Grimace to go on a murder spree.

Teens today grew up with social media filled with videos of people doing mundane things like “trying the new milkshake from ______” as if that was entertaining/interesting content. This is their parody of that lameness, while they still get to attention seek like those who came before them did.
