There is no such thing as job security in the NBA anymore. A guy was just fired after literally winning 60+ games the season before.

Yes
Look at the lakers you have a bum that is the HC
He all of a sudden became a good coach when the GM went and got talent around lebum and AD
Monty has done less with more I. Understand injuries happen but he's not the guy.

Lack of depth isn’t Monty’s fault.

Bad adjustments and getting throttled in elimination games in two straight season? That is in him.

Tatum and Brown have made 2 coaches with the Celtics look like they are worth a shite which everyone knows they suck.

was him or Ayton

Ayton is a big ole bitch. Suns will be sorry; Pels should swoop in and bring back Monty.

What makes Ham a bum? His adjustments in the Lakers v Warriors were great.

Yep, that's the one. Gonna be a few teams lining up to fill his bank account
I liked him a lot.

They built a consistent and winning culture with pretty big pieces sliding in and out of the organization.

The team overachieved.

Why did he get fired? I could see him working out well in a ton of places.

Well, to be fair, having Booker and KD iso seems like a pretty good idea to me.

Owner is elbow deep up Scottie Barnes arse. Truly believes he's the complete and total future of the franchise and Nurse didn't develop him to his standard. Those idiots are probably gonna move Siakam for the same reason.

Not that surprising. His teams didn't grind well in the Playoffs and to say they lacked a defensive presence is an understatement. I thought there was always way too much drama between Ayton and Williams for 2 seasons now.

I hope they find another coach/GM before they release players on the roster. You never know what the next guy will get out of Ayton. They need more role players for depth, but that isn't all that difficult these days.

I’m guessing they will go after Nick Nurse, huh?

I’d imagine CP3 will be traded or get a reduced role as well.
