I keep reading that the New Coke was purposely made for a publicity stunt - they knew there was going to be a massive backlash but that was all part of the game plan / once they brought back the original formula their sales went through the roof and the new Coke campaign was actually a huge success

At a company golf event yesterday the beer girls gave away less than a six pack of of Bud Light. Even Michelob Ultra was impacted.
Miller Lite and Coors Light killed it.

Just left a wedding reception. Only saw one Michelob Ultra being consumed. Bartender had to retrieve more Miller Lites from the kitchen to accommodate guests.

frick a rebate coupon. Who is gonna take the time to fill out the rebate forms, only to wait 8 weeks for your rebate AND to get yourself on a shite mailing list that'll be sold to woke causes.

My recent anecdotal story is small but I was at an airport bar recently and asked the bartender if he had seen anything, as i figured it would show a wide array of people from different places, and he said yes. They never had BL on tap, but he said he would go thru about 2 cases of BL a day, and it was down to like 2 bottles a day.

Lmao at comparing My Pillow and Bed Bath Beyond to the Bud Light situation. They’re not even remotely comparable. Bed Bath & Beyond is going out of business because the massive building brick and mortar stores are struggling to keep up with online retail giants like Amazon and the big box giants like Walmart and Target.

I make a point when I’m in the grocery store to check out the beer section.
Yesterday, bud light has 2 cases missing out of its inventory. Miller lite next to it has 5 cases left. Coors is about half full.
The contrast is pretty dramatic.
