We've tried to explain to the idiots that climate is global. If rice were banned then 90% of the people on earth who use rice as a primary food source live in nations that have already rejected the concept of climate change and they'll just say 'F...You.'
It's not just poor nations in Asia and India. Japan is very developed and they eat more rice than us Cajuns.
