All he did was flex after striking out a batter with bases loaded.

That was overboard by the umpire. It's a game of emotions for players and fans. I understand showing respect to other players or umps but celebrating? Come on man.

Thank last years Tennessee team for causing the SEC to overreact and crack down on player conduct.

Didnt watch it but couldnt have been worse than what Jones did. The umpire last night handled it properly IMO. Gave a warning. Didnt eject the player to influence a close game. The umpire for the florida game needs to calm his tits

I was about to say the same thing. If “Fuk U, U Pussy, Fuk You” gets a warning WTF?

Some of the histrionics by some SEC teams at the plate, and on the mound, is beyond the pale. You stir up shite, you die by shite. I have no problems with pitchers and hitters being told to frick off.

Umpires and referees should have the ability to discern the difference between celebrating and taunting. One should be allowed and one shouldn't.

Looking forward to seeing this event on video.

He must have said something offensive in addition to the flex. Otherwise it's a big nothing burger.

The world is becoming desensitized and more sensitive at the same time.

There is nothing wrong with a little celebrating. I tried to do the Kentucky crotch bump with the hot chick at work and got in trouble. You can't even celebrate anymore.

absolutely not. Under no circumstance is what that pitcher did worth a warning, much less getting thrown out. That ump should be out of the SEC tomorrow morning. I'm not sure Alex Box would've stopped throwing things on the field if this happened to the Tigers.
