I did. He double flexed and said "Let's go" after striking out a guy with the bases loaded and getting out of a jam. Oh, the horror. My point remains. He shouldn't even get a warning for that.

I don't think he said "let's go." The catcher was halfway to the dugout and he was staring at either the batter or ump.

Of course there could be some confusion since everyone is wearing the same uniform.

shite SEC umpires trying to pussify SEC baseball. Maybe they should learn and call proper strike zones instead of interjecting themselves into nothing burgers.

He must have said something offensive in addition to the flex

From what I read he said...wait for it...Let's GO!

These umps are bad and on a power trip It can't get much worse, can it?

This was how his teammate celebrated after getting a grand slam the next inning. LINK

The umpire made a bigger show of trying to draw attention to himself than the pitcher did.

Reminds me of the first year you could be flagged for “pushing the pile” on an extra point, celebrating during a play in football, or hitting “helmet to helmet” in football. Just happy we are not on the arse end of it like we were against Auburn in 04, Florida in 11, and Miss St in 18.

That was a quick ejection.

Had to have some verbiage in there as well, and prior warnings. Seeing it was game 3, could have had some warnings at the beginning of the game if they were getting a little chirpy earlier in the series. That ump would have needed to ice up in the LSU-KY series

current kids are the product of a life of being the vicarious pet of overindulgent, demented travel ball parents, it’s complete bush league, boorish, classless behavior they’ve been taught to believe is just being “competitive,” a term greatly over and misused on here, I’d like to see it pass but it’s not likely going away anytime soon, the current crop is worse than any girls travel softball antics I’ve seen

This is accurate. Every coach I ever had said “act like you’ve been there.” Follow the Dalton Hilliard example.

And as said as well they need to work on calling balls and strikes instead of worrying so much about celebrating.

And we didn’t have travel ball parents. Most parents mine included sat in the stands with gin and tonics cackling together. More than one occasion my parents asked after the game if we won. But hell they were there.

The question is why are both teams wearing dark jerseys? The dark red and dark orange are a little too similar.

Pathetic. Ending a bases loaded jam is reason to celebrate.

Umpires and referees should have the ability to discern the difference between celebrating and taunting. One should be allowed and one shouldn't.
they can hardly call balls and strikes.

Celebrating doesn’t have to include yelling at or mean-mugging the other team.

LSU players better reign it in if we get that umpire
LSU athletes need to take one big humility pill and grow up. Beat the opponents into submission, but do it with class and dignity. Thug Nation is so yesterday.

He did, but I bet the ump thought he juggled his nuts. It kind of looks like it, but I don’t think that’s what he did.

It's amazing how people can watch a video and see (and hear) what they want to see (and hear).
