A real statement of contrition and apology would be to air an ad of him shooting full "tranny can" of Bud light off a fence post with a 16-gauge, then turning around to his marketing department and shaking his head saying, "Welp. We won't ever f***ing do that again!"

Well I mean he’s screwed either way.
He’s already royally pissed off his working class customer base to pursue the LGBT crowd and pump up his corporate DEI score.
If he backs down now his base customer will still be upset, but he will also lose whatever urban leftists he might’ve appealed to while then becoming a target for the LGBT crowd and sinking his DEI score.
So he issues a milquetoast corporate memo using the “say a lot of words without saying anything at all” approach because that’s how he became a CEO in the first place and is now just hoping for the best while in reality his company is a dumpster fire that has violated every principal they teach in business school.
