The 3 guys we've seen tonight from the pen look to be about Grambling caliber players.

At this point, jj might as well just intentionally walk the next 3

I’m not taking my bat off the shoulder until Hellmers throws a strike. Hell, maybe until he throws two strikes.

He’s fricking garbage.

It's not just about tonight.

We are past the halfway point in the season and there are only 4-5 pitchers I trust right now on this entire staff. One of which may be done for the year.

Even if they gave up 1 or 2 runs, itd have still been within striking distance for us and we’d have made them burn 1-2 more good arms

South Carolina out coached us and out played us the entire game tonight.

Melting on a game is not melting on the season.

Can we not melt on a game when the team is melting?

I’d give them a shot in this game at 10-3 in the 7th, but bases loaded no outs is disconcerting.

Our 3 relievers can't even throw a damn strike. The 2 HRs aren't the issue. The 7 walks and HBP are.

No doubt the last two relievers didn’t cut it. That’s obvious.

Why are these pitchers even on the team?

Im probably with you on this one. Jay probably planned on skenes going 6. He doesn’t have shores anymore, and he probably has a by committee game 3. Since it’s a double header, he doesn’t really have the luxury of throwing the same relievers in two games tomorrow. at a certain point you have to hope for the best with your pitchers. I can’t say I completely disagree with his decisions tonight.

Lol, what?

How many runs was scored on Skenes in the amount of innings he pitched? Again, this is the best pitcher in the nation… I'm sure we can agree on that.

Who should he have burned in this game to possibly take the lead? Come on Josh… you know better.

I hate leaving Helmers out there like this. Just a quick way to destroy him mentally

I would expect progress from a 3rd year guy but Hellmers hasn't developed worth a damn.

The way we are managing the bullpen, might as well just intentionally walk the next 3 and call it a night
