Still not over the 2021 West Monroe-Zachary playoff game. That was Ponchatoula's year.

It was time. Great assistant coach, highly respected as a defensive guy. West Monroe has too many resources at its disposal to be sliding. Should be a very appealing job if the admin legitimately opens up the search.

Rumor is Arledge will stay on as AD. He's already mentioned Tony Osborne for head coach, and his son, Rob Arledge, to be DC.

I agree. He was fantastic in the 90's and early 2000's, but the game has changed and offense runs the show. They need to open it up and join the rest of high level football

Word out of West Monroe is he is showing early signs of dementia. There is no reason for him to stay on as AD. If they hire in house they will continue to struggle.

We would know. Their offense might dominate more if teams aren’t necessarily built to stop them anymore

Lol at the continued melt. And the melt is also shitting on that WM team to think you guys were definitely going to beat them. I guess Z can say they made two coaches quit from that playoff run.

If WM doesn’t play the good ole boy system, which seems like they might, McCarty would be my first call. I don’t really know what his ambitions are anymore since he stepped down as the head coach at Neville a couple years ago.

dude you need to stop this. We lost to a team that was better than we were on the lines and that was the difference. No shame in it we played good Zachary was just little better that night. Still proud of our boys and the year they had.

I don’t think Spat can coach at a program like WM. It’s for the same reasons why LSU wasn’t going to hire Vitello. Has to be someone who is well respected and liked by the community. Spat is a fantastic coach don’t get me wrong, but his personality would not work at WM in my opinion.
