Man, this guy desperately could use the help of an agent and publicist.

If another team was going to give him that stupid Deshaun Watson contract, I'm sure a trade would have already happened.

But no one is doing that.

Demanding a fully guaranteed contract says otherwise.

On top of that you have to part with valuable draft capital and/or players.

It's a lot to give up for a QB struggling to stay healthy each season.

A team has to give up 2 firsts, and a 230+ mill fully guaranteed contract to get a guy that has been injured for large parts of the past two years, whose play is SOLELY based on unreal athleticism.

I've been out of the loop on this Lamar stuff, but didn't he turned down like $150 mil or some ridiculous number like that?

This is the elephant in the room no one in the media wants to address. His best football is already behind him. He needs to be 2019 good every year to justify that outrageous deal he wants. I don't believe he will ever be that player again. He's going to be a league average QB when his running ability starts diminishing.

And unreal athleticism in one of those things that when it starts to decline, it tends to drop off the edge of a cliff.

I like Lamar and his game. But he has to be insane at this point.

During the last 2 seasons, he has played 24 out of a possible 34 games.

Not only that, he has accounted for 37 touchdowns(passing and running) and 20 interceptions.

He's going to mess around and lose out on a lot of potential money because his delusion for how much he think he's worth.

It just seems like Dan Snyder is going to give him a fully guaranteed contract just to frick over the NFL on his way out

So the Ravens have to get what they can for him at this point, right?

Lamar is out of his mind if he thinks he can make it worth a team’s while to give him what he wants.

I’ll continue to support Lamar if he remains with the Ravens, but I’m sort of over all of this and won’t be that upset if he goes elsewhere. It’s clear he’s not going to get what he wants from any team, not just the Ravens. I totally respect his efforts to get as much as he can, but at some point you have to be willing to make deals with others.
