Been a few years since I've seen either. Ended up watching the first, while scrolling through Netflix.

So good. Love that bear.

Paddington 1 is a solid movie.

Paddington 2 is a masterpiece.

Same I've never known if people really like it that much or if it's just a running joke.

My toddlers love them both but I love them more.

Hugh Grant has said publicly 2 is the best movie he’s ever been in:

I don’t think I’ve ever unexpectedly laughed so hard at a movie. Went to the theatre with my kid to see it cause it was the only kids movie showing. We still get the giggles thinking about it.

It genuinely is a perfect and delightful movie. I understand it’s not in the same vane of Citizen Kane or the like but it’s borderline perfect for what it was going for.

Drop everything you are doing and watch it now.

Sadly Paddington 2 is no longer on HBO Max and you need a Hulu Plus TV sub to watch it.

But everyone should just own the Blu Ray if we are being honest.

That bear is directly responsible for my marmalade sandwich habit.

If you have youtube tv (or probably any service), it’s streaming on tnt and tbs.

Just watched the first one while i was working just because of this thread. It was okay. As far as kids animated movies go to watch as an adult, i would rate this one around a B-.

Paddington was OK. Sign me up with the Paddington 2 fandom though.

I love the twitter account that photoshops paddington into random movies. The thing is, paddington always looks like he belongs
