I thought Kendall's speech was amazing. He's got what it takes to captain the ship.

I think we'll see a two hour combined finale of Succession and Barry, with The Raven's crew showing up in NYC to take out the entire Roy clan.

1. So GoJo's fake numbers are no longer an issue?

2. Realistically, when could Mencken actually block the deal? He just got elected so it's early November. Inauguration is 2 months away.

I would be shock if it isn’t Tom at this point. The president is gonna want somebody that he can control and Madson said it had to be an American CEO. Why would the president want a CEO that might work against him? Shiv pretty much is gonna be the reason her husband becomes CEO.

I think this is where that is going. I think it was important to note that Tom was mad that the papers weren't painting him as the guy that made the call.

Tom's prolly the one that leaked the timeline he was complaining about being leaked

I just don't see how everything that needs to happen next week can be crammed into 90 minutes.. I'm keeping my expectations low but hoping for a great ending.

Kind of funny how that’s playing out. For most of the show, it’s been kind of this come on get on with it, and now we’re like oh shite, how we gonna do this in an hour and half.

None of the kids deserve it. I think they all deserve to lose it! My vote is for Tom, with Greg by his side.

Who could have told Mattson that Shiv was pregnant?

I feel like they made Shiv look pregnant. I think once she told anyone, it would spread like wildfire. That's the kind of news that everyone wants to be the one to have and tell.

It’s crazy that a few days before, Tom and her frick. Tom doesn’t realize or notice she’s pregnant.

That same week, Shivs mom sees her after who knows how long it’s been and notices right away as if it’s blatantly obvious .

For anyone interested, Taika Waititi did an interview with Kieran Culkin over Succession and just acting/life in general for him right now.

It's got some really good stuff in it and particularly about how the cast interacts/works together. Enjoyable read.

quote:

CULKIN: Now, ever since I was 18, I ask for a crew list. Then there’s stuff that I didn’t realize I’d picked up from him. Sarah Snook is one of the greatest scene partners ever. She’ll be in the middle of her dialogue, and I’ll interrupt her, and she’ll be like, “What the frick? I’m talking here.” And I’m like, “Yeah, I know you’re talking. I don’t really care what you have to say.” And we just go back and forth until she gets back to her point.

WAITITI: Is there much improvising around that stuff?

CULKIN: For me, it’s more the Jeff Goldblum thing. I’m like, “I want to talk. I want to interrupt.” I want to ask them questions while we’re talking so it feels more natural. It comes from a more natural place and less of, “Let’s improvise and do some funny things that they’re going to maybe use or not.” But we definitely show up and give alt lines. Sometimes we’ll throw in bits of improvised things about our childhood that are just for us because we like creating our own background. We know they’re not going to use it.

I’ve enjoyed this season (and really like the show) but there are so many loose ends that I’m not sure how the final episode won’t be a little underwhelming.

There are a lot of plot devices they’ve used that simply have to be red herrings at this point because they can’t all be included in just one episode.
