Ray Epps Demands Retraction From Fox

A lawyer for Ray Epps has demanded that the Fox host Tucker Carlson publicly apologize for “false and defamatory statements” that Mr. Epps served as a federal agent during the Capitol attack.
A lawyer for Ray Epps, the man at the center of a prominent conspiracy theory about the Capitol riot, sent a letter on Thursday to the Fox News host Tucker Carlson demanding that he publicly retract his “false and defamatory statements” that Mr. Epps had worked as a government provocateur on Jan. 6, 2021, and helped to instigate the mob attack.
The letter to Mr. Carlson from the lawyer, Michael Teter, also demanded a “formal on-air apology for the lies” that have been “spread about Mr. Epps” by others at Fox.

Tucker only wondered why Ray Epps was never jailed for doing more than others that were jailed.
And why the J6 Committee said they would clearly explain and release Epps testimony transcript regarding: Epps role saying how great he was and never did.
He said that by not doing so would of course make some wonder who he was to escape arrest.

He's right in one regard, being accused of working as a federal agent is defamatory. It's also likely the truth in this case.

Let’s suppose even if Epps wasn’t working with the Feds (he was but let’s pretend).
There’s no doubt the guy was caught on camera several times agitating and urging people on.
Given this “insurrection” was the worst thing to ever befall our nation, how does a guy like that skate while many, many others sit rotting in DC confinement?
You’d think a guy like that would’ve been paraded out by the J6 clown sho…er, committee as example 1A of the Trump Nazi brigades that ransacked DC that day.
Doesn’t pass the smell test.
