Why was he killed? Because he was gay?

Because he had a relationship with Buster.

None of the investigators thought it was a hit and run. The coroner declared it a hit and the powers that be refused to look further into it.

John Marvin and Busters Mess. Randy seems to be "The Cleaner" of the messes. This gets swept under the rug because they keep digging half of South Carolina is gonna be finding skeletons in their closets they didn't know they had. These people just didn't learn to kill. They been doing so all along and have had others help hide the bodies. This this goes way deeper than what people are willing to accept. Better leave well enough alone!

Rumor from that area is Buster was dating Smith but it was Paul and a couple other guys that killed Smith. They had left a baseball game and came upon Smith walking in the road and hit him with a baseball bat and killed him. You don't get hit by an 18 wheelers side mirror and there not be any glass laying in the road. No skid marks, nothing, in fact he was found with his shoes still on and they weren't even tied.

As noted previously in other posts, Netflix series implied there could have been a gay relationship. I think it was the dead brothers ex girlfriend that said it during the interview.

That's unfortunate. It was a pretty good show.

Ehh, I doubt that. Even your name sounds a little gay.

Stephen's mother said that he told her he was in a relationship with a prominent older man, and that if he told her she would be shocked.

Did this relate to the invitation he told his Mother about, that he'd been invited to go on a deep sea fishing charter?(Which to me doesn't sound like a twenty something activity)(for lack of money and sea legs)

The entire area of SC is corrupt. I will include Berkeley County in that as well. It is unreal how much nepotism there is here.

After what is it, 8 years an autopsy? I guess they can examine the bones/skull?

I think they paid thugs to bash his skull, shoot him? and then dump the body in the road down the street by his car.

the uncle had to have helped having no real coroner report...

did anyone say if the car was really out of gas? IIRC: they said that he would have been walking the wrong way to get gas?

I think the kid was going to go to the media saying Buster loved to fudge pack him.

The coroner thought it was a gunshot.

quote:

Smith's case file stated that, at the scene of the incident, Hampton County Coroner Ernie Washington referred to Smith's head wound as a "gunshot wound," pointed to the bullet's entry point and referred to the death as a homicide. The deputy coroner present, Kelly Greene, also verbally affirmed that it was a homicide to the SCHP officers present.

he was fricking Alex.

Great point. We know so little about Alex despite him being on trial for horrendous murders and financial crimes.

A depraved millionaire who thinks he is above the law and exiting a bad marriage... this guy is f***ing something(s) and we have heard none of who or what.

There is no way a guy with his money, power, and morals is not feeding the bone to quite a few people.

I watched the documentary on HBO MAX awhile back, but I haven't really followed the trial much. Anyway, in the documentary, it starts off with the son who was driving a boat with several friends in it and they were drinking. One of the girls, the girlfriend of one of the guys who were in the boat, never came up and her body was later found right?

So that was ruled an accident? And the son who was driving the boat is the one that got killed right?
