no shite, his intensity and outright frustration whenever his team isn’t playing up to his level over the years has me wondering how it hasn’t happened sooner

A lot of rumors right now. Seeing it was either a “minor” heart attack (not that any heart attack is minor), or discomfort from a blockade that could have led to one in the future.
Hope he’s okay and gives himself a chance to recover. I’d love to have him back for the tournament but not at the expense of his health.

Still no confirmation of if it was an attack or discomfort, but have some sources saying Self had a stent placed and is doing fine. Not sure on the recovery timeframe, though.
