"Which child"? Several yrs ago Sports Illustrated ran a multi page article on the number of professional athletes who owed millions in child support. Kemp was at the top pf the list with 23 child dependents by multiple numbers of females. His agent was quoted as saying how much he hated the first of the mth as it took him so long to get all the support checks out timely.

six-time NBA All-Star Shawn Kemp -- a legendary member of the Seattle Sonics

I haven’t heard that name in a long time, I just figured he was living the good life. I also realized I’m old when a former NBA player me and my cousins watched growing up has been arrested at 53 for a damn drive by.

Tacoma, there’s a lot of hoodrat shite there

Saw a YouTube story about a Special forces guy that bought a house in Tacoma and had run ins with local gang...so one day he was having a BBQ with his other special forces buddies ( knowing something was going to go down) and a firefight took place....

( Spoiler alert....I think it was a anticlimactic ending. Lots of misses )

Kemps attorneys claim:

His vehicle was broken into and several items were stolen including an iPhone.

He tracked the iPhone to the parking lot and was approaching a vehicle when two guys got out and pointed guns at him and fired, and he returned fire.

There is video of him in the parking lot firing his gun from a distance

The best part of the video is when he's driving through the mall parking lot in his Porsche after the shooting and doesn't realize he's being recorded so he tosses the gun in a bush.

Like any city, some neighborhoods are worse than others. the southeastern portion and just west of downtown are the problem areas. But it isn't bad, especially compared to actually bad cities.

No charges are immediately being filed against former NBA All-Star Shawn Kemp following his arrest in a drive-by shooting in Washington, prosecutors said Thursday.

Kemp, 53, was booked for investigation of felony drive-by shooting shortly before 6 p.m. local time Wednesday in Tacoma, online jail records show. No one was injured in the shooting.

Adam Faber, a spokesperson for the Pierce County Prosecutor's Office, said in an emailed statement Thursday afternoon that that no charges were immediately being filed against Kemp and that he was being released from jail pending further investigation.

Tacoma police said an altercation between occupants of two vehicles near the Tacoma Mall led to shots being fired early Wednesday afternoon. No injuries were reported, and one of the cars fled the scene, according to a release from the police department on social media. A gun was recovered.

Kemp's attorney, Scott Boatman, said in a statement to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday that Kemp's car was broken into and numerous items, including an iPhone were stolen. Kemp tracked his iPhone to an occupied car, and was shot at when he approached the vehicle. Kemp then returned fire in self defense, Boatman says.

Kemp, who has two licensed cannabis stores in Seattle, was a six-time NBA All-Star and played for the Seattle SuperSonics from 1989 to 1997. He also played for Cleveland, Portland and Orlando.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

NOLA pisses on Tacoma.

Former resident of Tacoma living near hilltop.

Eta....former resident of NOLA as well.

NOLA is a training ground for the world. Tacoma is a stepping stone to the shite in NOLA.
