Erika Abad, a Nevada State College professor and an alumna of DePaul University in Chicago, shares that:

Abad said that “colorsim” can be explained through five points, dubbed the “sense(s) of colorism:” sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste.
On the topic of sight, she referenced hair style and products, arguing that using coconut-based and scented products is about assimilating to “whiteness.”
Then, answering a question posed to her during the live stream, she said that “how [people of color] eat [their] chicken” is also about “whiteness,” but did not explain the details.

That makes no sense. Black women love coco butter moisturizer (which smells a lot like coconut). White people seem to use it in deserts and cocktails.

Yes because everywhere coconuts grow is soooo white.
Dumb shite.

She is a definite no
Slumpbuster if nothing else is available
Remember if she’ has big underpants, she’s big under her pants

I'll eat like a Haitian when I'm drunk.
Which is to say that I starve.

Well, that's true. Black people put a LOT more salt in their cooking than whites. I have no idea why.

People have gone frickin' bonkers, haven't they.

You can laugh about it but 40 yrs ago a black guy I worked with laughed at me at how I ate chicken and he showed me the better way. He was correct and I still follow that teaching today.

Blacks prefer well done steaks. I’ll never understand why.

Erika Abad, her name certainly suits her. She's truly a bad professor.
ETA: Such a twit has no business teaching anything, at any level, let alone at the college level.

Something's has to add taste to those fricking collard greens

Does she mean how the chicken is prepared or how it is conveyed from plate to mouth?

Yeah, I always think to myself at dinner "you know, I could REALLY keep the black man down with an extra dash of salt on these potatoes." frickin' clown world.

I go against all of her stated truisms. I eat too much salt, I love the smell of coconut (but not so much the taste of it), and I gnaw my fried chicken to remove any remotely eatable portions. If not for DNA testing, she would have me convinced I was part Mandingo. Well, the fact I'm almost as pale as Edgar Winter would also be a clue I'm not.

Such things are not race based.
