Not sure about endangered but they work their asses off to have one or maybe two babies a year and generally stay with the same mate for life.

I don't care if they are as common as robins, that is our Nat'l Symbol. We just let any common riff-raff into our country?

I hope that scum is buried under the jail. I kind of feel like they think they can get away with anything they want.

You're being downvoted but it's true. Nothing you can do to get rid of them either.

Not why they're protected within the US.

Find that very hard to believe unless they didn’t even look in Alaska.

It is illegal to even possess a feather from a Bald Eagle unless you are a native American.

Although we removed the bald eagle from the list of threatened and endangered species under the Endangered Species Act, the bird continues to be protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. Both laws prohibit killing, selling or otherwise harming eagles, their nests or eggs.

I knew a guy about 45 years ago who was raided by local police for having a pot, weed patch behind his house. When his house was searched a bald eagle was found mounted on a wall in his house. He went to federal prison for it for a few years.

That’s a damn shame…considering how delicious their eggs are.

I prefer spotted owl.

If they were in Florida, I hear baby manatee is delicious.

So did the cops get to eat it? It was already dead, so can’t let it go to waste...
