This is where WBRZ said he was found. I am no expert, but with the shady people in that area, it would seem someone would have been in this covered area at some point in the last week.

Is that the old funeral home looking place sort of between Scenic and Exxon?

Some crackhead has probably been looking for his rug for the past few weeks.

It probably really tied the room together at the crack house.

"Hey, hey, hey brotha' wh wh whe when I, when I, whe, whe when I can get tha, that, that rug back?"

At least that is the cadence and style of the only real crack head I've ever had dealings with.

Do you expect anything different from the BRPD? Just think back to Allison Rice, Madison Brooks etc. How confusing that was and then BRDP holding press conferences only adding to the confusion. On top of that, those press conferences where mostly about defending their ineptitude.

I suppose it's possible that they are careful at what they release to the public.

But I have no reason to believe it's that instead of just pure, garden variety incompetence. They aren't talking about this because they don't have a fricking clue.

And I don't trust them to match ballistics of guns they find against the Allison Rice case either. I just don't think they are competent as an organization.

So within eye shot of I-110....

Weird place to dump a body with all of these swamps and waterways around.

Glad he's been found. Feel terrible for his wife and kids though. GOnna be a rough ride for them for a minute.

Will BRPD issue some sort of presser on this? Will be interesting to know if he OD'ed or was kilt.

Agree as horrible as it is i still think its better to know so they can start moving forward.

Who knows what BRPD will do they seem to be in the habit of saying as little as possible. One would think that if it is an OD BR government and business people would have a motivation to make that public. Problem is the tox screenings can take a long time to come back (when it's not a case that is in the news etc. it can be months).

Or they were sparring the family from embarrassment. BRPD has info that hasn’t been released to the public.

Sad regardless of the circumstances. Kids are without their father now for the rest of their lives. Teenage boys, in particular, need their Dad. Praying for this family.

It looks like he was either killed and robbed or overdosed near where he was seen on video at the Greyhound area ATM maybe getting more money for more drugs. He made more than one attempt to get money there as reported.

I`m leaning more towards he overdosed and died in a building and the drug dealers wrapped him up in the building, threw his body in a car and took a 5 min. trip and dumped the body.

The trap house he probably died in is frequented by some of the same people every day and they didn`t want the body to be found there because it could be easily tied back to them because it is basically their home.

The autopsy should reveal the cause of death.

This sounds a lot like the Crystal Scott case, OD'd and found in a plastic bin in Gonzalez.

With all due respect to the family, if I'm BR leadership I'm making sure the story gets out IF this was either an OD or just a drug deal gone bad

There's a huge PR difference between a normal family guy from GA getting randomly robbed and killed while walking back to his hotel vs a guy tracking down homeless and searching out drugs.

Being an addict doesn't mean he deserves to die or his death isn't a tragedy for his friends and family. But if his own poor choices ultimately led to his demise, that needs to be known

I dont remember where/if it waas stated. Did he have a history of drug use? OD seems most likely thing to me. I just dont remember where his history of drug use was stated or are we just assuming?

I hate BRPD as much as the next guy, but they dont owe the public all the details of their investigation. Sounds like they knew what was going on the whole time, but not saying it because they knew the body would turn up.

2900 Scenic is an old fire station across from the funeral home.
