not many

Wade's success is always based on what "he was going to do." Read some of the responses below. He talked tough. He was flashy, in a pimp kind of way.

Reality was he was a charlatan and a grifter. He could recruit, albeit by bending the rules (and not in a shrewd way). He couldn't coach. Lots of talent, all of which consistently underperformed.

The Wade-o-philes have little self-esteem. They immediately fawn over any flash in the pan (and they will do so when the next coach is hired).

Building and steady growth won't work for them.

“Building” like having the 51st ranked recruiting class? That’s some real negative building with a major downward trajectory.

Yeah, fans aren’t going to show up much longer and you frickers better not start complaining when that happens.

Wade was an underperforming man child.

I won't complain. Once Wade was tossed out, I was fine.

Good for you, thanks for at least being honest and admitting that you’d rather see LSU MBB be a dumpster fire in an empty PMAC than to have an excited fanbase and success under WW.

At least I can enjoy watching and supporting WBB, gymnastics and baseball during basketball season. I will give Scott some credit for that.

If wade was underachieving, I'd love to hear your description of this season.

Mcmaniacs are the weirdest people the rant has ever seen. You also happen to be the least intelligent.

Wade fans act like he was John Wooden or Adolph Rupp when he wasn't even John Brady

Is this supposed to be some lame arse defense of the abomination McMahon has put on the court?

It was an exciting brand of basketball. Probably underachieved for the talent, sure I’ll give you that. But who brought in that talent?

So now that we’ve seen MM as HC, how excited are you?

No, but he coached the team that allowed Vanderbilt to snap their 26-game losing streak. Vandy was a thorn in his side, 2-3 vs Vandy while at LSU.

Brian Kelly lost to A&Ms worst team in over a decade and still won the West.

Are we going to hyper focus on things that don’t matter to push a narrative? You consistently melt whenever someone likes Wade. Every thread.

Different situation but it could turn out to be similar. Even successful coaches seem to have some team that gives them inexplicably problems.

I don't think you are actually reading most of what I post. I liked Wade as a coach and he did very well but I do not try to pretend he did nothing wrong. Vandy was a thorn in his side and it was odd because he was generally exceptionally good against teams he should beat and often teams he was expected to lose to. My comment was not meant as a jab at Wade.

you arent asking a question for the sake of knowing the answer, you are making a point, and that point is fricking stupid. one tournament team was canceled for virus, another team he was suspended. you are trying to use those anomalies to make a misleading point.

I take having Vandy as a thorn in the side over what McMahon has done to the program, making it a easy win for every SEC team like a Kardashian at All-star weekend

Just another shill trying to distract from the fact that Scott Woodward took us from contending for the SEC every year to the worst team in most of our lifetimes in just one season. And, incredibly, the future looks even bleaker. When is your boss going to clean up his mess?

If you wanted to you can make up excuses to justify anything. It’s the easiest thing in the world to do and takes zero intelligence which is why that’s all these people do. They can’t use merit or standardized comparisons, they just repeat debunked excuses.
