Fast Times is the quintessential movie from this genre. Aside from a great movie and soundtrack, we all knew a version of those characters in HS.

I had a buddy with a video disc player that was really clear when it would pause...we watched Stripes many times for the shower scene (and John Larroquette throwing the spyglass though the window).
