A baseball field or certain bars in New Orleans that you could either drink outside or get in without ID

I lived in the middle of nowhere, had no money, no car, and crappy friends that wouldn't give me a ride, so my "go-to" spot was playing games on the ancient PC in my room at home with the door shut and winamp mp3's blaring loud enough through my PC speakers to block out the sound of my parents fighting.

You could have been chased a half mile, and still have been on it. He owned a ton before they eminent domain'ed it away from him.

“The rope”. A legendary rope swing in Lafayette on the Vermilion River.
By the age of 17, all the bars on the strip: the keg, mako’s, nightcaps, shanahan’s, the caboose, the pub.

In downtown Dalton Ga there was a couple of big parking lots and a loop around the area that was where all of the local HS kids from different schools would go to cruise on the weekends. It would end up being full lots of teens hanging out and a nonstop train of vehicles circling around and everyone would mingle, drink, hook up, hang out, fight, etc. No shots ever fired and just a good fun time meeting girls from other schools. You’d load your buddies in your car and go “cruise town” after the mall closed.
Simpler times.

It’s hard to even fathom now, but the LSU Union and the LSU Campus Lake across from Cow Palace near what is now the rec center (didn’t exist when this started) was a pretty crazy high school scene.
Lost my virginity at that lake. Played pool at the union after

I’m a 1980’s Baton Rouge kid.
Essen Mall movie theater. Then when we could drive….
Wendy’s in LSU by Chime Street.
The field behind the gas station on Burbank.
The levee keg parties . ( Camel club)
Shout out to the ole school players!
And forgot…. The Gator bar. They never carded.

Fresco’s under age club. We would down a few beers and then go there and ask girls to dance. The beer helped with the asking. Now that I think about it, the beer helped with dancing too.

When I was younger random peoples houses to play basketball or whatever. Once Junior year got rolling we went wherever we could drink. Generally would go to the daiquiri shop, pick up some large 190s with extra shots, then head to the lakefront or walk the quarter. Senior year we still did this but then we started going to my friend Craig’s house. His mom let us do whatever so it became a party.

A good friend's house. Our group would go there after the Friday night win. Our team was great that year too so it was a lot of fun.

Since I grew up at Pirates Cove in Elberta, pirates cove. Also a little known local area called Levin's bend. It's where barbers marina is now but it was next to impossible to find if you didn't know where it was.
