50ft and you could launch fire ants from behind a fence at night.

I would say aggressive city code enforcement might also be helpful and force owners to be more proactive (or even updating laws), but that area might still be unincorporated due to StG lawsuit. Parish code enforcement and so on isn’t likely to be as helpful and harder to modify to help with situation.
The area with pond closer to FedEx place close to where many posters used to say you could see encampments off the interstate looks like it’s owned by school district. I can’t remember if that was always the case with prior discussions here. Going NNE over dirt looking road coming from Reitz (??) has a smaller section with noticeable encampment trash in satellite pic that lists BREC as owner. The rest of plots are owned by various private holding companies or similar. I don’t know what the apartments are that are like a continuation of industrialplex. They don’t look new as they are in both 3D view and standard satellite view which with apple are usually several years old.
If burning is too extreme I would do to the trees what the Bama guy did to the Auburn trees. Give them no place to hide close to you.

Granulated sugar. Easier to spread out. Crawfish or shrimp shells - buckets of them broadcast over the entire camp area.

Rent a plane, find the recipe online. Problem solved.

Definitely leave out fish guts and crawfish heads.
The fire ants idea is also good.

Man... so much untapped potential. You have your own group of highwaymen right at your doorstep. Grab your bow, some tights, and plan your raids on target. You shall be King!

Do what they do in New Orleans and play some god-awful music

Will your irrigation system shoot fifty feet that way?
Or I’d offer em 200 bucks to relocate and let them know that if they show up on your doorstep you will shoot ‘em right between their dilated pupils
