I usually have a weekday off so I took over laundry a couple of years ago. More time for us to do other things in the weekend. I don’t mind the folding but I hate putting the kids’ clothes away. Everything is hung.

We started using this service called hampr - now neither of us do laundry.

I do my own laundry. We both work and pretty much split housework 50/50. She does a lot more of the inside work because I take care of the yard.

Do my own except for common items like towels. Wife does the rest. I help fold towels occasionally

My wife is a doctor and works about 1.5-2x as many hours as I do and a lot of the household chores fall on me. I have zero issues doing the housekeeping to include the vast majority of cooking also.
My wife and I are both doctors, but she makes about 50% more than me. I happily do the laundry and any other daily chores that need doing.

Yes, but I get shite if I put her clothes in the dryer without looking at the tags to see if it has to be air dried. WTF are clothes made that can't be run through the dryer?

I hate the way my wife does laundry.
I use all the settings. I run my whites on a custom 2 hour and 40 minute cycle.
She puts all her stuff together

Yep, even cooking. I won't cook inside and she won't cook outside. It's comical how hard we stick to it.
We were bickering about who was going to cook the gumbo one day. She wanted to listen to music and start the roux I wanted football. I went and cranked up the propane burner and outside TV. I won that day.
She did happily chop all my veggies for me though.

When I’m not offshore I do it. It’s not a big deal. The wife takes care of the kids 100% so doing some laundry between naps isn’t too much to ask of me.

I do my own laundry, she does yqed work and grass cutting. I win

I have never started our washing machine in the 7 years we’ve lived here. Started the dryer a couple weeks ago for the first time to knock some wrinkles out a shirt. Wife just given a raise to over $200k plus bonus this week.
Not so subtle “my wife wears the pants” brag, but she still does the laundry.

Every Sunday. I do mine and our two kids. Including folding and putting away. Wife does her own.

For some reason, I hate folding kids clothes.
Because a single load takes all damn day to fold
When we were all home during Covid, We taught our kids how to wash/dry/fold. Taught them how to sort, but they rarely do. I’d never dream of doing her laundry except occasionally putting a load in the dryer, and she doesn’t do mine.

Probably do a load once per week on average. I also find myself re-balancing my wife's loads so that the machine doesn't beat itself to death.

We share laundry duties on a lot of shared things like towels and bed sheets, but we tend to do our own clothes because we like our clothes dried differently.
