Why are you taking their affidavits as fact? You are continually “correcting” people as to the facts of the case, using the perps story as your “evidence”

This. The white kid is the lowest of scum, a fricking rat who thinks he’ll get his freedom by implicating the black kids and he’ll skate

I said that she shares a small part of the blame, yes. Her decision to let her drinking get out of hand, without some form of contingency plan put her in this position.

Do you deny that???

So, I ask, if a female gets blackout drunk in front of 4 trashy men, is it the same if a male does the same, in the same bar, like Reggies? Why an excuse for predator men?

The Damsel in Distress.
The Weaker Sex.
Women and Children First.
The White Knight. (the old meaning before we became ironic).

These were cultural archetypes for a reason. Because we correctly recognized that men DO have a societal role in protecting women at their most vulnerable moments. It doesn't mean we have to, it just means there was a societal expectation that we should. When we did not protect women, children and the elderly, we believed we had failed. This is not to say women shouldn't be responsible for their behavior, just that we also have a duty as men to look out for them because we are the "stronger" sex. Or at least we used to be.

Many young men may not be willing to do this any more. I think many have concluded it's not worth it to intervene anymore. From the power of The Blue Pill where genders are "equal", to men being worn out by blue-haired "toxic masculinity" feminist hysteria, to being told that any interaction on behalf of a white person that involves a black person is a crime, to yawning acceptance of black criminality, etc. Many young men do not want to "get involved". The culture virtually screams at men, "don't get involved". Until of course, something like this happens, and then the same people say "why didn't a man do something"?

Again-bottom line, we have to look after each other, even when it's not convenient.

No not really. Wrong is wrong, despite their life experiences. She had no issue twisting my words into something that I never said or implied

quote:

could you see how maybe she is a little defensive here due to life experiences

Yea I do, but that doesn’t make her the ultimate authority on what’s right and wrong. That doesn’t make her the gatekeeper of peoples feelings on this matter

quote:

Sure, you might be right in what you are saying, but when you step back and read again what you wrote directly to a rape victim, you don’t feel maybe a little icky?

If I’m being honest, yea probably a little. However, like I (and you) said, that doesn’t make what I said wrong or incorrect. Maybe a little insensitive, but I’m really not a part of the politically correct movement that’s sweeping this country. A lot of women are coddled their whole life and are NEVER told when they are wrong and in turn, can’t stand to hear it when they are. I’m sorry that she’s experienced what she went through in the past, but that doesn’t have any affect on what’s happening here, so sorry

When drunk tourists get robbed in Nola this board loves to jump on anyone who even pretends to say “they shouldn’t have been there that late” or “should be more aware” etc etc

Just depends on the circumstances on how they will post

Okay there tough guy, your right never been blacked out.

From all reports she was hanging out with hem at the bar, very drunk yes but hanging out with them.

Qyut trying to twist this like I am making it her fault. I am not but white girls and black BR thugs are a bad combination.

"from all reports" you mean the accounts of the guys who raped and left her for dead? Those guys?

You never said it was her fault and I never claimed you did. You claimed no matter how drunk you were, you always knew better. I said you had never been blackout then and I stand by it.

I've had nights that I can't remember a thing, like completely blank, but I was up and moving and doing shite for 4+ hours.

To act like she should have known better with zero information is pathetic. You don't know what your talking about and you got called out for it son

like this doesn’t apply to men too

I’m sure the rapists that took part in this unfortunate event were disciplined and instructed wisely as children

Jesus fricking Christ

LiztheGymnast strikes again. I’m not making excuses for ANYBODY. Those dudes are trash and should rot in prison or die ASAP, I don’t really care

But you’re trying to paint me as someone who is placing blame on the deceased and trying to exonerate the guilty parties, and that’s just not the case.

You deserve any criticism you get in this thread, despite your past. Sorry

Agree but also, if he doesn't speak up the police likely don't investigate at all and justice is never served. Hell, the initial WBRZ article already set up the court of public opinion that it was just some drunk girl standing in the middle of the road. That wasn't the truth and neither is their testimony; not the whole truth anyway. There will be more to come I'm sure. Everyone on here speculating needs to let the facts come out and keep her integrity.

A bright, beautiful, and talented Louisiana girl, one of our own, was tragically taken from us as a direct result of 4 vile predators. Support the family and the community to ensure justice is served and prevent these things happening in the future.

May they rot in hell

All of Tigerland is 18+ except for Fred's.

I believe Fred's was 18 or 19 for women, 21 for men back in the day.

Unglesby would wreck these misfits

I think he represented the one lawyer who made a statement in his suspension.

Edit from earlier post in thread:

quote:

Haley’s attorney indicated that his client continues to have a promising future despite the suspension. Haley’s practice areas include personal injury, criminal defense and family law.

“I fully expect Ron to return to his law practice,” Lewis O. Unglesby said in an email to the Louisiana Record. “Ron has accepted his mistake and will return to successfully representing his clients.”

Lot of truth here. If a white man had stepped in and saved this woman's life, there's a very real chance he would have had to get violent to do it and then he would have had to stand in front of a liberal judge with a liberal DA itching to throw him in prison for daring to interrupt the black men in the middle of their crime.
