Lol. I read his comment and laughed out loud.
Why? What was so funny about what I said? I never once mentioned men getting raped
I said that people should be responsible with the amount of alcohol they consume and also to hold a little personal responsibility for their actions. Not totally surprised that you and Liz would have an issue with that

So if a woman wakes up so drunk from the night before she remembers nothing , was it rape? Does it matter if she was flirty or not?
Da fuq are you trying to say here or is it just bad sarcasm?

Quit being an idiot and read the statute the legislature passed if you can even comprehend it

The comment I laughed at wasn’t yours. Anyway.

I think these criminals need to be made an example of
My point is, the act of her being hit by a car and killed isn’t what made this rape. It was the events before hand. And these events happen all the time and get shrugged off by ALOT of people

forever, there have been men who are older who hang around the college bars
I dont recall ever seeing anyone "older" in Murphys. Now, granted, a lot of those memories are blurry. but the only "older" people in there were roadies with whatever band was playing. Even after ball games, I dont recall seeing older people mixing with the 18-21 years olds. 21+ were usually at Freds. Definitely saw oldsters in that place on the regular.

And you’re saying this dumb shite

I mean so it seems this thread has turned back to “being drunk isn’t rape just an excuse for women”. Interesting

So if a woman gets blackout drunk, rape is ok?

Having said that, it just goes with the narrative that areas surrounding LSU need to be cleaned up. Areas around campus, athletic venues, and sites that LSU students and LSU visitors frequent.
The issue is with believing a developer is going to drop millions before the crime is resolved.
Clean up the crime first and folks will bend over backwards to invest there.
But no one worth his salt in development is going to put his money in a sink hole of crime.
Make it safe. It has to be done before or after the development so just do it now so next Madison isn't raped and dumped.
The only thing that could comfort me as a parent would be:
1) steps by the state/city to ensure it never happens again and maybe one girl is saved because of it and it's worth it.
2) hang those fricking criminals from a tree and let them rot. Let them hang until the rope fades
I was 17 once and I knew what rape was.

Your request to heap blame on a college student who was raped and left to be run over seems a bit trite. How about we hold accountable the men who did this to her
From my post:
quote:
If you can’t control how much you drink, you need to be really careful about where you go, what you do, and who you surround yourself with. YES, the majority of the blame should fall on the men who she left with, they are clearly pieces of shite for what they did

Are you also interested in what she was wearing?
You’re taking this a little too far.
My only point was that she should have been more careful and a little more responsible. Sheesh
Posted on 1/24/23 at 11:48 am to TheRouxGuru
And first of all, you don’t know me and I take ZERO issue with what you said about personal responsibility. But I’m also not gonna victim blame. In fact, you can go back and read the post where I stated that I’m gonna have to red pill TF out of my kids before I release them into the world with any sort of comfort that they’ll be prepared to protect themselves and those around them from predators.

Show me where I said this.. Show me where I implied this
The amount of reaching you had to do to arrive at this fricking conclusion is beyond impressive. Holy fricking shite you women on the OT are bat shite insane. I can see why y’all have no men in your lives and have to come to the OT to get hardlegged and get your daily fix of attention
Posted on 1/24/23 at 11:52 am to liz18lsu
It's likely this one would have also been unreported without the later tragedy leading to a police investigation.

Channon Christian and Chris Newsom disagree
Different college town, but not much of a difference between the offenders. Ghetto trash in both cases.

I’ve worked in social services and with the public for most of my adult life - what people do to other people makes my skin crawl

Huge difference in the facts, though.

I am a huge dickhead on here, 100%. And my need to be right consumes me
But maybe, just some should tone it down a wee bit from needing to be right here when arguing to an actual rape victim abkut this? I mean, geez
This and the constant actual making fun of OWEO for being handicapped is just a bit much even for a prick like myself
