Totes the water for the film welfare industry and at time I believe he had family in the business.

In my book he is either corrupt or so dumb he supported billions in cash subsidies from Louisiana taxpayers to film makers.

wrong again. He went to Episcopal and played point guard. I actually guarded him in a scrimmage. We also beat them in a game.

No.

But let’s be real here. Dardenne has no conservative base at this point.

I could see the race being Dardenne vs Landry/Schroder/Hewitt, but that would be a stretch as the hard Dem base still doesn’t trust him.

In no way do we end up with a Dardenne vs Chambers runoff. I’d take a ban bet on that.

You better let the BRHS Foundation know so they can kick him out of their HOF.

Was curious who would be crying about this. Then saw the poster.
Your mission in life must be to fight the film industry. You've been at it hardcore for a long time on here.

No, but at least I would know what I was up against. Jay Dardenne is the state level equivalent of Bill Cassidy.

Voted for him several times but when he cast his lot with that slimy fraud governor, I realized what a fraud he was.

Did you actually take time to read the article?

quote:

Dardenne's deep roots in the neighborhood are clear. He went to Walnut Hills Elementary, Westdale Junior High, Baton Rouge High and then LSU. He is Baton Rouge through and through. He said he flirted with going to Washington, D.C., when he was younger, and he likes traveling, but Baton Rouge is where he belongs.

He would be a great neighbor living next door. Friendly, helpful, fun to talk to. But the fact that his whole life has been in local politics is disturbing.

You can separate political jobs from a person in the community. Politics aren’t every aspect of life, bro.

He should run for EBR Mayor against Broome. I gotta believe he would do a better job.

That dude would consider that job an insult.

The truth is that the GOP will throw out the same garbage candidate that they have for the last 20 years. Even if they manage to get elected, they won't do anything productive

What's the 3 worst things he's done? And how do they compare to a lifetime in Louisiana politics without being corrupt?

You need to look into his recent contract with CVS Caremark that he entered Louisiana into despite it being unanimously rejected in a bipartisan budget committee. Billion dollar contract. Crushes independent pharmacies. If you go to your pharmacist and can't get certain prescriptions now and have to go to go CVS this is why. It forces independent pharmacies to sell at below their costs. It brings all the business to CVS. There is a lawsuit filed that I believe is in the appeals court right now. I'll get more info

Period. Full stop.
