To ask him about his hiring process! As a local business owner, the most challenging skill to master is identifying the best talent and partnering with them.

Can anyone get me an interview?

If that was the case then Texas would win a natty every other year.

He gets proven winners and program builders. Really not that hard.

That IS hard. Think how many universities have tried and failed to hire those kinds of people.

Are you referring to Athletic Directors or politicians?

I didn’t realize some AD’s are paying out of their own pocket.

You should bring him a fresh McCafe from one of your venues and ask for 15 minutes

Realizing that Kelly, Mulkey, Johnson and McMahon were proven commodities that would excel at LSU with better players, facilities and resources wasn't exactly the stuff of genius.

It’s easy when you have an unlimited budget. He also consults with some smart smart people!

Scott probably gives public speeches all the time. You might want to go to one and see if you can a moment with him and set up a meeting.

That might even be a good topic of discussion at one of his speeches, although I'm sure he doesn't want to give away his secrets...

He swung and missed with Jimbo. It is hard and Woodward isn’t perfect.

Many proven winners have failed in new jobs. College sports and the pros are littered with them.

You don't need Woodward for that.

Lots of talent acquisition / resourcing knowledge exists. Finding the right talent, leading/motivating, coaching & development, building organization capability and effectiveness, etc.

One resource example:
