Going to be optimistic here. Damar will be stable and on road to recovery by morning.
Teams will play again tomorrow night. I am curious if they resume where they left off or start game over. This is unprecedented

The game won't get made up, the bills and chiefs will end up having played/completed one less game than everyone else

I think the “right” decision is you don’t play the game, and you announce seeding and such goes off number of losses first instead of generic win pct

neither does making this game work logistically. Even if played tomorrow, you are only giving these teams 4 days off until their next game

Think of that Tua heat. Teams go Sunday/Thursday every year, but if they get unlucky and a guy gets hurt, even if a normal short week 4 day, the PR would be brutal.

Make it a no contest and do the seedings by win %

You don’t know much about the NFL do you??
Not even just the NFL. The week after Dale died they were back to racing, including his own son. Yes, it sucks in the moment but life doesn't just stop for one person.

Don’t act like any multibillion dollar company would shut down for a month if an employee died even if it was on Tv.

Is it strange that ESPN has not reported, at all, on the Tweet from the friend & marketing rep?

It would seem as if he's a solid source.

So the game doesn’t happen and the chiefs get the 1 seed? How is that fair

So the chiefs go ahead of the bills who they lost to. You punish the bills for having their player either die or almost die

I just think that’s a bold move if they do that

Are they still in the business of breaking news? It could be that the NFL has told them not to.

I get that no one wants to say it right now, but this game is massively important to the rest of the AFC as well as player contract incentives.

all that is so insignificant to what's important right now... they will figure out the incentives and shite, the NFL prints money bro... under the unprecedented circumstances, they'll figure all that out later... but that's not on the list of "to do" for them right now, i can promise you that
