Are they still in the business of breaking news? It could be that the NFL has told them not to.

How could the NFL tell them not to?

The guy has already Tweeted it - it's out in the public.

The real right thing is letting McDermott talk to his team tomorrow morning once there’s a better idea on how the player is doing and have him decide based on what the bulls want to do.

Make it a no contest and do the seedings by win %

i'd almost bet my house that's what going to end up happening... that's kind of their only play right now

Is it strange that ESPN has not reported, at all, on the Tweet from the friend & marketing rep? It would seem as if he's a solid source.

ESPN has a policy where if one of their insiders can’t also report it they won’t do so. At least that’s what I’ve heard.

So until some one like Schefter can be the one “reporting it” ESPN won’t

So the game doesn’t happen and the chiefs get the 1 seed? How is that fair

Players union and NFL have to work that out. Neither the Bengals or the Bills GAF about the seeds ATM.

So the chiefs go ahead of the bills who they lost to. You punish the bills for having their player either die or almost die I just think that’s a bold move if they do that

I know everyone is tripping over themselves to say Hamlin’s health is all that matters, but us discussing this doesn’t impact his health one iota. You’re right - canceling this game is a very big deal.

Yes, but the NFL may not want to give that info any validity by having ESPN report it.

I don't know all the scenarios, what's the other option just give them homefield? I definitely don't see how they can finish this game given the time constraints.

Seedings are always done based on win percentage. So yeah, thats what would happen

But the win percentage couldn’t be the same as the chiefs, mathematically speaking

Right, but they would be equal, so kc would get homefield if they win next week.
