Fury - I said here am I, send me..Isaiah Ch. 6

This is IMO an extremely well acted, and one of the greatest war, soldie bonding moments in a movie.

The entire movie is great. Watch it if you are into war movies.

I loved the movie, ending battle was kind of dumb.

Shia kinda steals the scene every time he’s in a movie. One of the most underrated actors going

Nah. Was it saving private Ryan? No, but it was entertaining and a solid movie. 6.5/10.

The scene where they go into the house with the resident women was awkward, but it made me realize that even American WWII soldiers weren’t the poster boys we all think. There had to have been some pretty disgusting people. You see American soldiers being portrayed as barbarians in some Vietnamese War movies, but not WWII very much. ‘Fury’ kind of shed light on that aspect for me.

Absolutely weren’t all innocent but compared to the Russians they were welcomed by German women. As the Russians moved in their soldiers raped entire cities.

Stuttgart was especially brutal for Russian rape.

Michael Pena's performance is underrated in this. I still laugh thinking about "I'm drunk!" at the dining room scene.

Good scene. What struck me more was when Grady was stopping Norman from trying to dig for and rescue the girl after the housing got bombed.

Even though they hadn't formed a good bond yet, he was protecting his brother.

It was a very good movie, right up until the end. The final fight scene was just incredibly stupid and unbelievable.

Everything up to that point was believable at least for me.

It was true that the only thing the SHerman tanks had on the Tigers was that they were more maneuverable. Having to race around to try to hit the only weak spot on the was kinda accurate, sometimes the Sherman's would retreat and hope to surprise the Tigers later.

While those two were no doubt great in the movie the most memorable performance for me was Jon Bernthal. His character was by far the most ruthless in tormenting Norman and if Brad Pitt wasn't there to stop him he would have been savage to those two German women, yet you still feel sympathy for him because you can tell he is broken inside. There was a deleted scene that I think should have been included where he confesses to Brad Pitt that he is suffering and it is clear he has PTSD.

The movie overall had some unbelievable battle scenes that were kind of silly but it did a great job showing the horrors of war and the comradery between soldiers.

It was not accurate because the 76 mm gun that was on fury could penetrate a Tiger 1 frontally. It was rare for a Sherman to be up gunned like that but the reason being so they could go toe to toe with the tigers.

Iirc there was another up gunned Sherman in their platoon but may have been knocked out first. Also, since fury had the longer gun and they were in the lead they would have been taken out first by the ambushing tiger.

I hated that scene because it could have been a lot better.

I did love they used a real tiger

Wasn’t the final scene based on a story of an actual tank during WWII
