Heavy rain, cool front = dead

So, these storms roll through Mississippi yesterday, drop a ton of rain, and temperatures drop 25 degrees. 16 cell cameras across 360 plus acres and 1 camera produced 3 pictures. Nothing else on the other 15 cameras over the last 12-18 hours.
Prime Breeding is still about 2-3 weeks away, but it’s dead. I’ve always heard the experts say be on the stand after the major pressure and temperature changes, yet I have always found the 24 hours or so after the front to be slow unless temperature is down below 10 degrees.
I’m in Central Mississippi. What’s y’all’s thoughts

Oh shite that’s a ton of cameras on 360 acres. I run 6 on 420 acres.
Thought about adding a couple more at water holes and big piles of Nilgai shite but haven’t yet. Where do you have all 16 at?

Was in Prentiss last weekend and it was dead also. Weather sucked though. That was my excuse.

as much as the experts claim animals are creatures of habit, those biitches are still unpredictable and will leave you scratching your head.

It has been dead at our place as well, around Magee/Mt. Olive

I've got some stuff today and early tomorrow and then I'll be out there hunting most of the weekend. These past two weeks have been relatively dead for me. Too damn hot.

Dang baw that’s a camera every 23 acres! You have them surrounded.
Normally a 20deg temp drop to the mid 30-lower 40s does it but sometimes deer just do deer shite.
My theory right now is that all this warm weather has decreased movement due to them having packed on fat and not burning any calories. Woods still have green in them and briars are not burnt. Our corn feeders with pens around them are not even getting the night activity we normally see.

I have cameras on food plots, trails, scrapes, and on 3 feeders. A wide variety and assortment of areas.
I’ve averaged 40-50 pictures per night over the last 3-4 weeks of the warm spell, while it was probably 80-100 per night before that.
Heck, we haven’t hunted in 4 weeks waiting for rut.
I’m expecting it to blow back up over then 2-3 cold nights.
I am really curious what others see on the 24 hours following a strong front

That’s only cell cameras! ??
I bought 6 spypoint flex this year. $99 membership and I get 250 pictures per month for each camera for free. So far the flex have been problem free with good pictures.
8 Cuddelink that I bought 3 yea ago for $20 per month.
Also have 2 Tactacam.
I have 8-10 cheap Tasco camera, 2 brownings and 4-5 wild game cameras.
My woods glow at night! ??

Those deer probably feel like celebs with paparazzi chasing them! We had a little movement yesterday evening but not like you would have thought after that rain plus temp drop.

Doesn’t sound like you have many deer. What county?

If you have Spypoint cameras that may be your problem, mine are schizophrenic.

A couple weeks back I had some bachelor bucks starting to show up together. Saturday-Wednesday morning they started showing up separately. Last night and this morning, coons and a couple does. Will feed heavily at lunch today, then be waiting patiently this weekend, starting tomorrow. Hopefully they show up.

Saw great activity yesterday afternoon and this morning. Lots of deer on their feet and even some early rut activity

I've shot 3 deer this year. None were near where my cameras were.
Our cameras have been hit/miss in Southern Mississippi.

Early in November, I drove through a nasty front to be in the tree when it was past, and saw 4 and shot 1. I do think you want to be there after junk rolls through in general, but there are other factors as well.
