I don't know the best way to say this, but we read sad stories so often these days that I feel like it's normal to pause, think to myself "Man, that's terrible!" but then pretty quickly go back about my day. This one hits different.

That’s what I’m talking about. I didn’t say messages on this board. I said texts from people. I know what HIPPA is

I haven't read this whole thread, but a recent story by AP says he's in critical condition.

quote:

Mississippi State coach Mike Leach was hospitalized in critical condition Monday, the day after what the university called “a personal health issue” at his home in Starkville forced him to be airlifted to a medical facility in Jackson.

quote:

Leach was admitted Sunday to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, about 125 miles (200 kilometers) from the Mississippi State campus.

UMMC spokesman Marc Rolph said Monday in a text message to AP that Leach's condition was listed in critical condition. The 61-year-old Leach was initially treated at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, the university said.

Leach is in his third season at Mississippi State, with a 19-17 record. He acknowledged a bout with pneumonia late in the season that was causing a persistent cough, but it was unclear whether his recent illness was related to this latest ailment.

quote:

The school said Sunday it would have no further comment on Leach’s condition, adding “that the thoughts and prayers of the university are with Mike and (wife) Sharon and their family.”

I read on MSN that he collapsed and was not helped for 10-15 minutes. It also said that he could've been without oxygen for several minutes.

Any idea how that time period was determined?

Just curious.

Emojis don't work on TD. Never have to my knowledge. The Emoticons do. There is no praying emoticon. So you never have been able to post anything like what you are asking for to my knowledge. So just say praying or find a pic or gif to post.

Here is a link to some emoticons not in the normal grouping available.

I have no idea. Just repeating what I read. I can't find that article now. It was on a bing aggregate of news articles.
The info in the article that I stated, I haven't seen it repeated elsewhere.

The stuff that is coming out now sounds awful. It is being said that he has not been responsive since his heart attack and that he may have gone at least 10+ minutes without oxygen to the brain.

I can only hope a miracle happens, but I also don't want him to live the rest of his life as a vegetable with no awareness of anything.

2. Are you Donald Trump?

If it’s a heart attack, I guess that is karma for when he was bitching about his players eating fish sandwiches with their fat girlfriends
