She's not a hero, she didnt sacrifice anything for the sake of America....IMO she's a traitor.
I know the "woke" crowd will throw a parade for her.....however, how will the working class, corp America, WNBA, the non-woke, Elon Musk/Twitter treat her?
I believe her life will be a living hell unless she goes into hiding and has enough money to never have to work or endorse any product again.
I guess she will write a book and do interviews on CNN and The View and they will pay her some $$$
Maybe she'll end up on the cover of Time Magazine

Corporate America, the WNBA, and the media will lavishly celebrate her has a heroic-victim. A triumphant, "marginalized" person in the US sticking it to the rest of the world. Leftists will celebrate and virtue signal loudly. Not because they think this is some sort of worthwhile endeavor (they know, but won't say, how insanely absurd the cost to get her back was). But because virtue-signaling is a big part of their ENTIRE identity, and because they know it will piss conservatives off.
Do you think Colin Kaepernik's life is a "living hell"? The guy is a beloved (by the left) millionaire for essentially being nothing more than a professional victim. Griner will do the same. She's going to profit more from this than she could EVER make being a professional basketball player
The world became a more dangerous and less peaceful place today in exchange for a few more blocked shots in the WNBA. But that reality doesn't matter because it provides the basis for virtue signaling and a "victory" over conservative principles. In the end, that's much more important than the actual ramifications of this absurd episode.
