The more likely scenario would be Nuss transferring to not sit another year, and lose out the job to Howard if he's half as good as many think he will be

I stated in a previous thread that I didn't think this year's class of draft eligible QBs was exceptionally strong and I didn't see a lot of franchise QB potential. For that reason it might be a good time for Daniels to declare. Top 5 is pretty darn good and he should have a really good combine showing.
He was also starting to show the wear of multiple hits over the latter part of the season. He could blow up next season or get blown up and lose draft stock due to injury.

the ACL tear certainly will give a little pause for Hooker's stock but age really doesnt matter for a QB. They play into their mid-late 30s no problem these days. Some even into 40-42 range. Being 25 is not really a knock, I mean Burrow went #1 overall and he was 23.

Yeah part of me wants him back, but if this list is remotely accurate I think he should go. The other half of me is convinced that he'll never really air it out - so I wouldn't be upset having a new guy at QB next year (Nuss, Howard, whoever).

There is data that suggests younger in age but experienced in games is a pretty big indicator of success. Final college season age 21 and 30+ college starts seems to be the sweet spot.
