Must be a really down year for QBs. No way JD makes it as a QB in the NFL. Can’t imagine wasting a draft pick on him.
What a stupid arse thing to say. Dude could develop into a damn good qb. You can teach looking off db's and throwing open relievers. You can't teach JD's speed and elusiveness. He'd go in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Yeah, we would be so much better off without the quarterback who helped beat Bama and win the west. LSU does so much better when they have a quarterback with hardly any playing time. lolol

He is in hisc4th year as a starter, he is what he is and nothing more

Torn acl, and will be 25 at the start of the nfl season next year.
I can understand the age thing, but even before his injury he was behind Levis and Richardson in every mock draft I have seen.
I can understand the age thing, and I know NFL guys don't see it this way, but I believe the age thing can be a positive for teams needing an immediate starter. And with the way QB's are protected in the NFL, its not like he cant preform at a peak level for a 10-12 year window.

As far as Kiper, he had JD ranked 9th a week ago so moving him up is just to draw interest in watching draft coverage
Exactly. And, this isnt a knock on Daniels, but I will be shocked if Daniels is still top 5 on Kiper's list on draft day. It will change a half dozen times before April.

Mond from A&M went 3rd round!
JD5 had more good games than Mond.

Which was a horrible pick. He got cut within a year.
I think daniels can get picked in the 3rd round of the draft for sure.

Yup. Mond was terrible and went 3rd. That's great example. Daniels is both a better player and prospect.

Crazy that there's "fans" that seem outraged about Daniels being a prospect, like they have a personal grudge against the dude.

Well he had Josh Allen as the number 1 QB in the loaded class of ‘18 when no one else did. Everyone poo pooped Allen’s bad college stats against weak competition but Kiper saw the potential. It’s almost like he’s been doing this for 40 years or something….
So because Allen worked out that means Kiper knows his stuff? What Josh Allen did is kind of unprecedented. There was no special thing Kiper saw that no one else saw.
This is like someone winning the lottery then people pretending that person is a financial genius. Not Kiper or anyone else could really think a guy who had been inaccurate since high school would develop in the way Allen did. No one really knows if a qb will be good or not.
