Would Coach O work at Tulane?

If Fritz does leave, would Coach O be a possibility at Tulane? Or is it beneath him? Honestly, I hope not. With Orgeron's recruiting skillset, and the huge inventory of talent in the NOLA area and Louisiana at large, I would think he could build a solid team. He certainly knows the area well. I've never understood why Louisiana can't have 2 strong College football programs.
Of course LSU will always be LSU and be the flagship university, but I think we have more than enough talent to have another strong program. I mean, if Mississippi can do it (3 decent teams if you count Southern Miss), then we can to with our plethora of talent in State.

There’s the operative word in your statement. Probably don’t want LSU to be as decent as Ole Miss and Mississippi State are “decent.”
Edit to add: you’ve had ULL have a good five or so year run, Tech has had some good teams in that same span, and Tulane is having their best season in nigh on 25 years. What more do you want?
It’s just those schools are steppingstones for coaching talent.

No, he’s got his ring and his cash. He graduated from the grind

O would be ordering shots for the bar at Miss Mae’s all season

Would work out about as well as the Rob Ryan rumors last go-round.

With the money O got from LSU he ain’t doing nothing but blondes and traveling around the country.

No he should never be a head coach again. He should coach and recruit defensive line.

O would be Les Miles 2.0 without LSU. He’d go about 1-21 in two years and get shitcanned

No. He succeeds when he out-talents everyone by a good margin. I doubt he will recruit wideouts who can play in the NFL as freshman to Tulane.

Mickey Joseph should at least get an interview if the Tulane jobs comes open.

I'm surprised Coach O hasn't been hired by Barstool to be a part of their college football coverage, given the love they have shown him over the years.

I think he is beneath Tulane.

More of an F&M’s and Grits guy than Miss Mae’s or Snake and Jake’s imo. Not to mention the Saint.

Yes, shrimp heads excel at Ivy League Jewish schools.

Tulane should hire Scott Frost. He knows AAC and will have to work the portal.

Two weeks ago he was a done deal to USF if Chuckie turned down the job. What happened?

The question is what school wants him?
When LSU hired him NO ONE wanted him and I doubt that anyone wants him now.
He has shown what he will do to a program and the type of person that he is.
I predict he does not coach again in a major conference.
